Title: Biomedical Robotics and Applications (BioRA)

3M-NANO council cordially invites you to contribute tothe EU Marie Curie Action Special Session jointly organized by BioRA and RABOT projects (5-6 presentations) at 3M-NANO 2016. There will be 4 to 6 Special Sessions as part of the Technical program running in parallel on the Conference. Each session accommodates 5-6 oral presentations, with 20 min for each presentation.

Both projects aim to contribute to state of the art of robotics. The project “Biomedical Robotics and Applications (BioRA)” (http://cnm.cust.edu.cn/en/BioRA) focuses on the development of new technologies and applications in the field of biomedical robotics on the macro, micro and nano scales for biological cell detection, manipulation, test and injection. The project of “Real-time adaptive networked control of rescue robots (RABOT)” (http://rabot.fusion-edu.eu/) concentrates on robots with real-time and remote network control capability by human operators for applications to hazardous or challenging environments and areas where human lives may be exposed to greater risk such as conducting maintenance and repair in nuclear contaminated areas.

The ultimate goal of both projects is to establish a long-term research cooperation platform between Europe and China in the challenging field of robotics. This joint Special Session provides all with a good opportunity for sharing knowledge from difference focusing research areas and for joining in the collaboration platform.
