There are different requirements to obtain a visa to enter the mainland China from different countries. Some embassies may request a conference attendee to present a letter from the organization committee to verify the intention.

How to get to Jinji Lake Shilla Hotel (the venue of 3M-NANO 2013)

 

 

If you arrive at Suzhou by air:

 

The closest international airports are in Shanghai (ca 80km from Suzhou).The information below may help you to use public transportation from Shanghai, in order to get to Shilla Hotel in Suzhou, which is very close to Times Square station of Suzhou metro line No.1.

 

1. There are two international airports in Shanghai. Please check

    which one is your arrival airport.

 

2. If you arrive at the Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, please

    check the options for public transport in the upper part of the table below.

  

    If you arrive at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport, please

    check the options for public transport in the lower part of the table below.

 

3. Considering that you may need help from a local person, we also put the

If you arrive at Suzhou by train:

You will arrive in Suzhou at one of the following destinations:

 

(1) Suzhou railway station

You have two options:

 

Taxi: take a taxi to Jinji Lake Shilla Hotel (14km, fare 30-35 RMB)

 

 

 

Bus: take bus No.1 to Leqiao, then transfer to Suzhou metro line No.1 (Leqiao station) and go to Times Square station (8 stops). Shilla hotel is very close to Times Square station. Total fare 6 RMB.

 

 

 

(2) Suzhou north high speed railway station

You have two options:

 

Taxi: take a taxi to Jinji Lake Shilla Hotel (23km, fare 50-55 RMB)

 

                      

 

 

Bus: take bus No.8 to Suzhou north bus station, then take bus No.2 and get off at Times Square bus stop. Shilla hotel is very close to this stop. Total fare 4 RMB.

 

 

 

(3) Suzhou industry park railway station

You have two options:

 

Taxi: take a taxi to Jinji Lake Shilla Hotel (4km, fare 12-15 RMB)

 

Bus: take bus No.258 and get off at Times Square bus stop. Shilla hotel is very close to this stop. Fare 2 RMB.
